Objective:
The goal is to organize all the cards into four foundation piles, one for each suit (hearts, diamonds, clubs, and spades), in ascending order from Ace to King. Sounds simple? Not quite! You’ll need to use your skills and strategy to clear the tableau (the main playing area) and uncover new moves.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Shuffle & Deal:
The game begins with 28 cards dealt into seven columns on the tableau. Each column increases by one card from left to right, with the last card in each column turned face up.
Move Cards:
You can move cards between the columns, alternating colors (red and black) and placing them in descending order (King to Ace). For example, a red six can only be placed on a black seven.
Reveal Hidden Cards:
Each time you move a face-up card, the hidden card beneath it is revealed. This opens up new options and potential moves.
Build Foundations:
Once you have an Ace, you can start building your foundation piles. Continue stacking the cards in ascending order until each foundation is complete with all cards of the same suit from Ace to King.
Draw Pile:
If you run out of moves in the tableau, you can draw new cards from the deck (also known as the stockpile). Choose between a one-card draw (easier) or a three-card draw (more challenging) depending on how strategic you want your game to be.
Win the Game:
The game is won when all four foundation piles are complete, with cards arranged in sequence from Ace to King.
Game Modes:
One-Card Draw: Ideal for beginners or those looking for a more relaxed game. You can draw one card at a time from the deck to maximize your chances of finding the right move.
Three-Card Draw: A more challenging mode for experienced players. Draw three cards at a time from the deck, increasing the difficulty and requiring more foresight.
